Life Before Fame & Success

The business magnate had a great childhood compared to many other billionaires out there. Elon Musk was born on 18th June, 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. He is the son of Errol Musk, an electromechanical engineer, businessman and a man of many talent, and Maye Musk, a model and dietitian.

In many interviews, Musk has said this before that he spent his childhood never thinking about money because they were substantially wealthy.

Unfortunately, Musk’s parents decided to walk separate paths in 1980 when he was only 9 years old. the future billionaire chose to stay with his dad but he said he regretted his decision.

Given his introverted attitude and his parent’s divorce, Elon, at the age of 10 developed an interest in computers and programming. He taught himself programming from a VIC-20 user manual and after two years of hard work sold a BASIC-based game at $500.

Oh man, where should I begin! You know Elon mostly because of Tesla, but do you know that he is not the one who founded it? He was only an investor and later acquired it by acquiring majority shareholding.

He was been the largest shareholder and CEO of Tesla since 2008 which is the longest ever for a automotive company. Anyway, that doesn’t change the fact that he had been previously accused of hostile takeover and also not stepping down from the company even after facing several allegations.

But before Tesla Elon Musk had founded SpaceX. He has been a strong supporter of colonizing Mars and this led him to found the company. What’s surprising is that he founded the company with his own money. $100 Million is not a small amount and if you know how risky is a space business you would know that this was the worst decision of his life.

His first launch went fine, but two consecutive failure nearly wiped out the company and also brought Elon on the brink of bankruptcy…But soon things improve and as of today, SpaceX is performing well as a business and also pushing many boundaries..

Lately he is pushing for Starlink. In simple terms by accessing Starlink satellite you can access internet even in the remotest part of the world…You can watch many videos on YouTube where people are testing the speed. To be honest, it’s really good!

Do you want me to talk about Elon’s Twitter stunt? Elon has single-handedly marred his reputation after acquiring Twitter and firing almost the entire workforce. Many say that this Twitter fiasco can either make or break Elon financially. If his decision works out good then his Net Worth will increase even more, but if it doesn’t then there’s a slight chance of U.S recession.

His first marriage was with Justine Wilson, a Canadian actress whom he met while attending Queen’s University. After spending some time together, they decided to marry in 2000. After two years of staying together, their first kid was born in 2002, but died only after 10 weeks.

After their first setback, Justine gave birth to twins in 2004 and again triplets in 2006. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last long enough after having kids. In 2008 they got divorced ending their long-time relation.

Moving forward, Musk got married the second time in 2010 to Talulah Riley but divorced her too after two years. But, married again in 2013 to give their love a second chance. This marriage was going to be Musk’s final marriage. Talulah Riley and Elon Musk got divorced in 2016 and haven’t come together since.

It was the time after 2016 when affair between Amber Heard and Elon Musk was at full force. Their relationship status was heavily covered by several media outlets…There also have been some unconfirmed reports of Amber hitting and injuring Elon while in relationship but nothing was ever confirmed..

After their relation didn’t work out well, the Tesla CEO fell in love with Claire Elise Boucher, famously known as Grimes and they official started dating in 2018. But this time too for some reason, after staying together for three years, the two stopped dating and moved on with their lives.
